Nylon 12 (Polyamide 12 尼龍 12) 為熱可塑性半結晶型塑膠：
優點：低吸濕 Nylon 、能加入高比率的填充物、耐化學性、高剛性、低翹曲

限制：相較於其他 Nylon 價格較高‧耐熱性較差
成型條件
乾燥：80℃ 4小時
模溫：80℃
射出溫度：250~290℃

聚醯胺俗稱尼龍，英文名稱Polyamide或Nylon，簡稱PA，是目前最常用的通用工程塑膠。
由於PA的品種繁多，結構不同，性能各異。目前塑料工業常用的是脂肪族PA，
具體的品種有PA6、PA66、PA610、PA1010、PA11、PA12、PA9、PA612、PA121等。
尼龍管又稱為:

尼龍管的耐熱性與UV穩定性讓尼龍管不容易因為壓力破裂，
所以尼龍管適合被使用於陽光照射的地方。
以塑膠袋、膜包好存放十年亦不質變。
